I bought this bike several years ago from a neighbor lady in Florida. She bought it new and used it very little. As a result it was in nearly new condition. It has a mechanical speedometer. The shifter is a Shimano Positron. I don't see much advantage of the Positron over the older detented shifter. It is positive though, shifting with an over center action with a resounding snap into position.

My wife uses "Pinky" as her utility runaround bike here in the RV park. The basket is usually full of craft supplies, books for the library, or mail. The parcel rack often carries her exercise mat to aerobics class.
