MOTOBECANE NOMADE

I saw this big Motobecane Nomade, (Nomad in english), 12 speed sitting in a lineup of much used single and 3 speed bikes at a local bike shop. It caught my eye immediately since it towered over its mates. After a brief look I asked the price and was surprised to hear that $20 would buy it. Since I can't pass up a bargain, and I didn't have a Motobecane I brought it home.

The Motobecane needed nothing but routine cleaning, not a single component needed attention. This bike is one of the few I have ridden that feels like I have ridden it forever. Everything feels natural and familiar. Is that good, or would more knowledgable riders say it has no character. Whatever, I like it.
